George G. Sause, Jr. taught economics at Lafayette College from 1950 until retiring in 1984. He died in July of 1996 at age 76. He became director of the economics department in 1970. He graduated from Moravian College in 1941 and received a Ph.d. from Columbia University in 1950.

Larry Spancake was employed by the Center for Local Tax Research (a project of the Henry George School of Social Science) in the early 1980s to study the effects on communities moving to a two-rate form of property taxation consistent with the proposals contained in the writings of Henry George. In October of 1987 he joined the U.S. Department of Energy, where he remained until retiring in 2012.
