Charles Clinton Killingsworth was a labor-management economist.
He earned his Ph.D. in 1946 at the University of Wisconsin. He taught economics
at Johns Hopkins University from 1941-1946, then from 1947-1949 at Michigan
State University. In 1949 he became department head, serving until 1958. From
1960 to 1987 he was professor of labor and industrial relations, retiring in
1987.
